I really enjoyed this film, it had a lot more jump scares and crazy stuff happen and I also loved how it continued off the first movie! I can’t wait to see more and the special effects were out of this world amazing. It had suspense and the kind of horror that we have been waiting for
IT chapter 2 - a much expected film to come after IT chap 1 which was popular enough. The story was a bit expected as all the horror films have mostly same story lineup. Taking about the movie the projection was good and I like the acting and everything about the cast. The stars also performed well and the direction was also good. I saw the movie in 4dmax so the visual were just amazing Though i wouldn't recommend for people with weak heart to watch this. I would give a 2.5/5
Being a huge Stephen King fan, I read the novel (more than once). I realize that for length reasons, some things are going to be left out, considering the novel is more than a thousand pages long. I also know that there are scenes that are lifted from the final cut for the same reasons. That being said, I would have to say that the beginning of It: Chapter Two seemed a tad rushed and made me extremely nervous for what was to come.
About Pennywise, I find him to be an interesting, funny, charming villain. I see why kids are getting their arms bit off over him - I’d do the same thing. Bill Skarsgård plays the role with such a blend of humor and horror. I wanted more of him. The damn clown is the point of the movie and he’s only in it for 10 minutes. The film also had this weird blend of comedy with small doses of drama. The thing was the dramatic and even the scariest parts were making me laugh. This horror movie seemed to be in on its cliche nature - and I liked it. I’m not sure it was intentional throughout some moments but I think it worked. The ending I found to be very touching and real. It made all the supernatural elements of the last hour become relatable in a way.
It was a nice experience watching this movie. An awesome walk down the memory lane !!! IT had been feeding on the fear,in this part the fear loses to friendship. Loved Eddie n Richie & of course new kid Ben. Few scary scenes are actually gripping n scary, rest are bit predictable. Overall a great experience and very nice to watch The loosers again after 27 years. P.S. - Bill Skarsgard aka Pennywise has been fabulous. Loved it overall
Perfect Sequel. Bit lengthy though. Spooky scenes are placed at regular intervals. Story too goes along. Climax is awesome. Really too creative. Good to see people creating good horror flicks other than James wan (insidious chapter 3 & 4 were too boring). Overall 7/10.
The Movie IT Chapter Two is a sequel to the IT released in the year 2017. As continuation to the previous part, the story begins in the suburban place Derry where the story of the clown has all started. The director has shown how the life of the members of Losers club has changed with going away from Derry for various reasons. All of them are living their lives by forgetting the things happened in Derry, until they get a call from Mike who is living in Derry by working as a Librarian in the same place. The movie is well scripted and well directed which gives the fear through the spine to the audience for the throw up scenes. Movie is watchable except for its screen time of 2 hours 49 minutes even though it is crispy and thrilling.
IT chapter two opens with a chilling crime scene in the american countryside suburb Derry. Director and Writer shows the glimpses of present day situation of members of the Losers club. except mike who is working as a librarian in Derry, all other club members live away from the town to live in a city. They have struggled to put their past behind them until a phone call from Mike brings them back to the place where it all started. The scenes successfully merge humour and terror. The films antagonist the clown and its various forms is at its best and succeeds to send a chill down the audience spine. The movie throws up the Jumpscare though some of them are predictable yet scary. The story moves with how the friends has won over the clown this time and how they got through their fears in achieving this feat. Though it seems to be the longest horror movie, it is worth watch to have fun and thrill of watching it in the theaters.
Second installment of IT is more scarier than the first one. The scenes, the makeup and the background score is making it horrifying but yet entertaining experience. I have watched in Dolby atmos sound and few scenes freaked me out. This is just awesome!
I love IT Chapter Two!! I understand what some people are saying is wrong with this movie and I too have some problems with the movie, but this movie is still amazing. The casting choice is the best I've ever seen, especially with Bill Hader as Richie, Finn Wolfhard in the first movie was the highlight for Chapter One and this time Bill Hader is the highlight for Chapter Two. The final confrontation is amazing, I was not disappointed with it at all, the giant spider from the original TV miniseries as a huge disappointment but the monster for this film is AMAZING. Going to be honest, I am interested to see if there will ever be an IT Chapter Three movie, if there ever will be one, I hope is an origin movie for Pennywise and maybe we can get a scene with the Turtle fighting IT.
That was fantastic! As someone who loved the book and even enjoyed the campy TV-Movie with Tim Curry and John Ritter, I was guarded about the films. But oh man did they deliver in a big way! Stupendous scenes, perfect casting (It was so easy to get attached and root for the characters. Bill Skarskard as Pennywise, big shoes to fill but oh man he did it justice!) and an ending that is worthy of that monstrous, magnificent book. It can be hard to translate Stephen King properly into a film, but this was so well made! Lastly, Bill Hader in an action/suspense thriller is straight out of my dreams! So happy with this film! Will watch it again!
While watching It in the theatre, I could have been convinced that I was actually there to see a comedy starring Bill Hader. Not only were there way too many jokes in the dialogue, but because of that, the tone of the movie led audience members who didn't take this movie as seriously as some of us King super-fans seemed to laugh at every single scene they found not to be scary.
There are things far more horrific than evil, shape-shifting sewer clowns in “It Chapter Two,” the bruising conclusion to the 2017 Warner Bros. hit that brings the now-adult heroes home to face their ultimate fears. That ancient, festering evil still lurks in Derry, Maine, where seven misfit friends dubbed the “Losers Club” were terrorized as kids one summer by Pennywise the Clown, the monstrous Stephen King creation who’s fueled nightmares since the 1986 publication of “It” and the 1990 miniseries of the same name. Pennywise returns with new tricks, sharper teeth and a hankering for revenge in the sequel opening Sept. 6 and directed again by Andy Muschietti (“Mama”) from a script by Gary Dauberman that attempts more plot than it can handle. Still, it’s the internalized and human terrors that pack the most stomach-churning frights in “It Chapter Two.” After focusing the first film on its 13-year-old heroes circa 1989, “It Chapter Two” adopts the mournful perspective of wistful adulthood, catching up with the estranged and now-grown Losers Club as they reunite 27 years later to honor the blood oath they made as adolescents.
This is 2nd chapter of movie IT. It brings the characters who have long since gone their separate ways, back together as adults, nearly three decades after the events of the first film. If you liked 1st part of IT, you will like it for sure. Its better than 1st part. Movie climax was awesome. Must watch for them who watched and liked the first part. Acting is good and direction is also nice. Only few scenes are boring otherwise worth a penny.
